Exterior timberwork repaint in Llanbedr
A change from blue to white brought out the decorative gable and porch details on this stone-fronted Llanbedr home.
I repainted the exterior timberwork on this Llanbedr home from blue to white. The work included the decorative boards around the front gables and porch, the gable-end fascia and soffit, and parts of the rear exterior. I also decorated the rear porch interior and toilet.
The problem found
The existing blue finish on the decorative exterior timberwork was to be changed to white.

A challenge solved
Access to the high timberwork was particularly awkward because of the garden wall in front of the house.

The front gables and porch
The result
The white paintwork gives the decorative gables and porch a clear outline against the stone frontage. The two photographs show the change at the front; the wider job also included exterior and interior work at the rear.
