Flat living room redecoration in Tywyn
A complete living-room refresh in Tywyn, taking the walls from a patchwork of previous finishes to an even soft-grey scheme with clean white detailing.
The living room needed bringing back to one consistent finish. Areas of the walls were at different stages, so the preparation and coverage had to be right before the final grey could go on evenly.
Preparation
The walls were prepared to even out the different existing finishes before the new colour was applied.
Finishes
Soft grey walls, with white to the ceiling, coving, door, skirting and other woodwork.
One of several flats in the block
This living room formed part of a wider decorating programme across several flats in the same Tywyn block.
The room through the decorating stages
From the first coats through to the finished room, the gallery shows how the patchwork of surfaces was brought into one clean, consistent scheme.

The finished room
The finished room feels lighter and much more settled, with the soft-grey walls framing the large window and the fresh white ceiling, coving and woodwork sharpening the edges of the room.
