The brief
The brief was to refresh the interior while keeping the dark beams and existing timber as part of the rooms. The main wall surfaces were rough and patchy at the start, so preparation came before the new paintwork.
What was done
- Prepare the uneven existing wall surfaces.
- Repaint the main living space.
- Decorate around the beams and existing timber.
- Complete the bedroom and adjoining interior areas.

The result
The walls have a fresh pale finish while the dark beams and timber remain visible. The decoration continues through the adjoining space and bedroom, keeping the existing features part of the finished interior.
